Only writing a review now since it popped into my head. Got a fantastic hot choc a while ago, I live right behind this coffee shop and always manage to walk past Mr Cowboy on my way to work. I need to go in more often, alas I'm in a rush usually. What a gorgeous shop, and what a lovely character that brings so much value to the fabric of E&C.

I work opposite this hidden place, right on the corner of the Elephant and Castle roundabout, first the coffee is one of the best I’ve had in a long time…. The place is large, has A/C and most of all a great friendly Black Cowboy…. And staff. The view it’s great inside and out for people watching to, all food and drinks looked good too. Bought some of his own blended coffee….I use a aero press and the Buffalo Bayou is for me smooth and you can’t stop drinking it!!! Great place to visit.

after a doctor appointment with my mom, we both decided to stop into Black Cowboy Coffee - it’s such a cute and quaint little shop! the owner is so friendly and he gave us such a good laugh while we were there and i LOVED the decor of the place, it felt so unique! i had the iced filter and it was so good! i took a sip before leaving and couldn’t help but tell him how delicious it was; it had such a natural sweetness to it and it tasted so incredibly smooth. it was surprisingly cheap too, we got two drinks and didn’t even pay over £6 which was such a shock given our current economy! definitely give this place a go if you’re in the Elephant and Castle area!

If you’re looking for a cafe with a unique vibe offering quality food and drink, this is one to visit! We were welcomed in warmly, and had an all-day breakfast style menu to choose from. The sausage hash brown was filling, and the chocolate frappe was super thick and smooth. The cafe itself also kept us entertained the whole time, with its illustrations, paintings, and many flags to look at. I hope to come back next time I visit Elephant and Castle!
